To get from
here to there, sometimes you must cross a bridge. Danger usually lurks below, ever present as
you make your way across. I Timothy 2:5 states, For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man
Jesus Christ. Our bridge, “Emmanuel,
God with us” takes us from damnation to salvation, from rebellion to righteousness
and from condemned to redeemed. This
bridge is indestructible, eternal, trustworthy and available to all. Beneath the bridge, there is tribulation,
persecution, temptation, suffering and strife but God provides peace to carry
us over and through the turbulence of life. The Holy Spirit is continually at
work in us not only keeping us on the bridge but is at work building and
transforming us into living sacrifices. Check
out the video below. Tamala Mann’s
moving song directs us to the King as
the bridge work continues in the construction zone of our lives. Put on your hard hat, slip on your working
boots and prepare to allow the Spirit to breakdown walls, drudge up faulty
foundations and install strong, durable teaching being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a
good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians
1:6.
This is beautiful. Keep going. Keep using the gift that God has given to you to reach others for Jesus.
